In honor of Holy Week, I want to share a video clip about one of the most important characters in the Resurrection Story – Mary Magdalene, a woman God chose FIRST.
The fact that Christ commissioned Mary Magdalene as the first person to share the Resurrection news in spite of that culture’s mistrust of women’s testimonies debunks many ideas of what women “can’t” or “shouldn’t” do in regard to leadership. Listen to this 2.5 minute clip and see what you think.
